Warranty Policy

Every part we sell carries at least the manufacturer's warranty, and most carry a one-year minimum through us. This page says what's covered, what isn't, and how to claim — plainly.

1 · What's covered

A part that fails in normal service within its warranty period is replaced or refunded — your choice where both are possible. Coverage runs from the delivery date, and your order history is the receipt, so there is nothing to register and nothing to lose.

2 · Manufacturer warranties

Where the manufacturer's own warranty is longer than a year, you get the longer coverage, and we handle the paperwork with the manufacturer rather than sending you to a claims portal. The part page states the manufacturer's term where it exceeds our minimum.

3 · Fit guarantee vs warranty

They cover different failures. The fit guarantee covers 'it never fit' — wrong part for the model, free return, full refund, no time pressure beyond reason. The warranty covers 'it fit, worked, and then failed early'. If you're not sure which applies, contact us and we'll route it; you never lose coverage by picking the wrong door.

4 · How to make a claim

Start from the order in your account or the contact page. Describe the failure — the guide's testing steps are often the fastest evidence: an igniter reading open-circuit or a capacitor measuring 20% under its µF rating settles the question in one message. We ship the replacement as soon as the claim is confirmed, usually before the failed part comes back.

5 · What voids coverage

Damage from installation contrary to the part's instructions or our guide's safety callouts, damage from a fault elsewhere in the system (a board killed by a shorted valve is a symptom, not a defect), physical damage after delivery, and parts installed in applications they were never rated for. Where a claim is declined, we say exactly why.
