Titan Pro TRD-45537 vs TRD-45550 — 370V or 440V?
Two 45+5 µF dual run capacitors from the same line, one rated 370V and one 440V. The 370V TRD-45537 is discontinued and the 440V TRD-45550 replaced it — here is what actually changed, and why the swap is safe in one direction only.

These are not the same part — the spec table differs, so the $1.65 price gap is not a saving. The 440V part is the one to buy, and the $1.65 the discontinued can appears to save you is not a saving — it is a lower voltage ceiling on a part we cannot ship. This page exists because people still search the old number.

| Voltage | 370 VAC | 440/370 VAC — better A capacitor's voltage rating is a ceiling, not a target: the 440V can replaces the 370V can in every application, and the 370V can does not replace the 440V. That asymmetry is the whole reason the 370V line was retired rather than stocked twice. |
